Locally built by the Challenger Yacht Corporation, the 40's are known to be robustly built, offshore capable boats. Extremely roomy inside with far more headroom, beam and storage than most boats of a similar vintage. She would make a great live aboard or local cruiser and with a few upgrades could take you anywhere you want to go. The Great Perhaps has a fairly extensive list of recent modifications and upgrades including an extensively rebuilt engine drive train.
